Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit. We also use similar technologies, including browser local storage and short-lived performance signals, to operate zeynelsahin.com securely and to remember choices you make on the site.

Categories we use

• Strictly necessary. These support core functions such as security, load balancing, and remembering your cookie consent choice and accessibility settings (for example font size, high contrast, or reduced motion). They are not used for advertising profiles. Because the public site cannot work reliably without them, they are not switched off through the cookie banner.
• Analytics (optional). If you accept analytics in our cookie preferences dialog, we may load privacy-oriented statistics services such as Plausible and/or Google Analytics 4 (when configured) to understand visit volumes and improve content. Optional analytics are not loaded until you consent. You may use the full public website if you reject them.
• Performance telemetry. We may collect anonymous page-speed measurements (for example through Vercel Speed Insights) to monitor technical performance. This is not used to track you across other websites for marketing.

Your choices

On your first visit, a cookie banner asks whether to allow optional analytics. You can change your decision at any time using the Cookie settings button at the bottom left of the page. You can also remove cookies and site data through your browser settings; note that clearing storage may reset your consent and accessibility preferences.

Third parties and admin access

When analytics is enabled, the relevant provider may process usage data under its own privacy policy. We do not use the public marketing site to sell personal data or to build third-party advertising profiles. Staff access our separate admin portal at admin.zeynelsahin.com, which uses login session cookies for authentication only; those cookies are not used for public-site marketing analytics.

A public service worker may cache static files in your browser to improve repeat visits; this does not require optional analytics consent.
